This Lehmann "Ajax" toy was Patented 1903, this one ca 1914. The most articulated of all the Lehmann toys which uses a very complicated mechanism. It shows a warrior with clubs standing on long slats turning a somersault while fully extending. These came with two different kind of clothing and were expensive toys at the time. This one is the striped clothing version. Stands 10" ( 25 cm). Wind up, all original clothing and working fine.( Patent EPL 659) Very good condition. Some minor schratces due to age. Wonderful antique French Automaton Pull toy. Fine French Doll with bisque head with two sheeps on a platform. When the toy is moved, she turns her head Wonderfully all originally silk dressed doll with a head made of fine flawless bisque. Inset brown eyes. Mohair wig. Wooden body. Seated on on platform with embossed gold paper trim together with two papiermache sheeps with silk decoration matching the color of her dress and stick. Excellent condition all over. H. 32 cm / 12,5" w. 26 cm/ 10" All original. Ca 1880

From the Legoland museum comes this outstanding and charming Slithead doll with a great personality! She is made of Wax over papermache ca 1830.She is in an unique condition. A large charming rare girl with blue inset eyes, original long curly wig set in a slit in her head, and a very lovely smile. She is in very good condition. She is dressed in her lovely all antique hand sewn cotton gown and with layers of lovely underwear. She wears a little bonnet and blue leather boots.. She is 65 cm tall./ 25" tall This remarkeble lady is all original and with an interesting provenance from Estrid Faurholdt. A very pretty slithead from the famous collection of early dolls at Legoland in Denmark.A wonderful memory of the late Estrid Fauerholds dolls. Estrid Faurholdt wrote the book Dolls and Dollhouses together with the late Flora Gill Jacobs.

This is a charming wooden mechanical toy of a young girl playing the piano. A wooden doll with paper mache head is seated in front of a piano in her best clothes and plays the piano, when pulled. Her face is lovely, fine molded and painted facial features and a lovely hairstyle: hair curled at the top and put together in a molded and painted hair net.Her body is peg wooden and seated on a wooden stool. She has small painted black boots. She is dressed in her all original silk long skirt and fine blouse trimmed with lace. The condition of the toy is excellent. All original and no repairs. - very appealing toy! H. 21 cm ( 8,8") W. 17 cm (6,6")

Bells on collar and dress. Torso with hat and dress 36 cm. With stick 50 cm. When swirled bells sounds. Excellent condition of face. A little wear to dress due to age. A wonderful toy!
