5"x 5 1/4"/ 13x14 cm good and unusually Biedermeier Secrataire/desk with mirrored back.. This is an excellent very early plain style Biedermeier furniture with shelves at each side of the desk. White banding.Scrolled carving with mirror behind.Drawer and doors to open under the desk with original knobs. Made in Germany circa 1860-70. Good condition. This is a beautiful set of Schneegas furniture for the parlor from ca 1880. The set has 7 pieces of fine cherrywood furniture ( often referred to as "golden oak". The suite comes with a sofa and 3 chairs upholstered in maroon velvet, a table with a turtle shaped marble top, a console or pier mirror and a chest of drawers-both pieces with marble top. Opening drawers. Everything original and in excellent condition. I have shown the furniture in a folding room, that does not come with the set, but makes a nice view. To give you an idea of the sizes: Sofa L. 13 cm x H. 9 cm. (5,1" x 3 1/2") Table 12 cm x 5 cm ( 4 3/4" x 2 1/2") Pier mirror 19 cm ( 7 1/2") Excellent condition.
