This is a very extraordinary Early wax Man -a Dollhouse Doll dressed as a Guard "Knight" Head is wax,molded on helm, Arms and legs wood/composition. dressed in cotton, velvet and brocade with gold trimmings, The trousers velvet.Trimmed with golden paper. He has a beard on the chin.(remains of some hairs -not painted. Inset bead eyes .This very special early doll dates from ca 1780 The condition is very good. Everything antique and original!A very special dollhouse man for a really old house-. Great as guards/ knights! A Museumpiece! I do have a pendant to this-take a look at the second one.Soldier.
