Drawers to open here and underneath. Original blue paper. Strong gold stencilling. mirror, knobs, paper all original. original. No repairs. Excellent condition for the madium size dollhouse. This is an absolutely rarerity! I have never had this or seen this before!! Biedermeier table, round, with the most adorable stencilling you can imagine-see next photo! Beautiful stencilling at the top. The legs are very nice made as a turned pedestal with 3 carved "legs" attached to the pedestal. Made in Walthershausen ca 1870. Nice stencilling.Excellent condition. Rarely does one see a desk of this size ( 34 cm) in such superb condition! The graining in the wood and color is beautiful. This was found with a collection of 40 volumes of Shakespere books. To imagine the size: Doll shown is 17" / 45 cm. The desk has white banding, turned ivory collums around the mirror, the original stenciling , featuring handsome paper lining and trim in the cozy interior.
