26" 67 cm. Large French Papier mache Lady doll, ca 1840.with painted black pate and black braided human hair wig, painted brown eyes, finely painted browns,delicately painted mouth and cheeks. She is on an all-leather body and arms with individually stitched fingers,-body is sturdy and in a in great condition. Her dress is antique and original: a brown printed calico dress with apron.(all hand stiched, underwear and great original leather shoes. She is in a very good state of preservation.She is so beautiful and so original! A rare to find French Pauline Type. A great choice for the collector of early dolls.Paper mache doll.

19"/48 cm Milliners Model.Wonderful early empire paper machee doll/papier machee- so called Milliners model. Made of papier machee .Kidbody all hand made in Sonnenberg, Germany about 1830-40.Coiffure like the rare Kistner china! Slim waist. . This is really a piece of history to your doll collection. She is lovely. Her hairdo is great. Long modeled ringlets at the side and the hair is put in abraided bun at the back of her head. The papie mache is not broken in anyway. Her body is great. Her dress is also antique and all origional- to her- a red and white cotton dress with buttons on the back.. Very nice and clean,Wonderful condition. I would say a MINT doll. She comes from a museum in Scandinavia.No restouration or repairs! A great doll for your collection of early rare dolls!! Lots of underwear.Made in Germany about 1830. Early Sonnenberg Paper mache baby dool -so called "Täufling".

A Sonnenberg Paper mache baby -so called "Täufling". Shoulder-Headed Doll, German circa 1850 with closed painted mouth, dark glass eyes, rouged cheeks, painted curls to either side and rear of head, cloth and wooden body which is put together with twill cloth and has floating joints. The child's body engineering can be clearly seen on the detail photos.The shoulderhead has very nice details such as a very nice mouth and brows and the extremely delicately painted tufts of hair like his Mottschmann family members typically receive. Dressed in a plain original cotton dress. This happy baby also has a working squeaker mounted in his mid-section . Size 32 cm/12,6"

11,5" /29 cm Milliners model. Ca 1840. This is a wonderful early classical empire paper machee doll.Long slender neck with lovely hairdo in a bun and long ringlets. She has her hair modeled in ringlets with a bun at the back of her head. She is on her original milliner kid body with wooden lower limps. Painted shoes. And dressed in her all original antique two pieces dress of lace and cotton. Original golden "jewlery to her bust.. A wonderful addition to your collection of early dolls. Made by Voigt Germany

15" Wonderful antique papier mache milliners model with long ringlets at the side and the hair put together in a bun at the back,.This doll has a face with blue painted eyes and beautifully modelled hair. Her hair is braided and wound over her ears at the side, the back swept up into a knot with comb fastened below it..an unusual and early hairstyle. I think this lady is from the 1830s. She has the typical milliner's body, with painted flat shoes, leather torso and paper rings where her wooden limps are attached. 17" This is a Wonderful antique papier mache milliners model with a pretty hairdo: long ringlets at the sides and the hair put together in a bun at the back. She is dressed in her all antique pink gown with a tiny pattern and a white collor as well as lots of underwear. This doll has a sweet face with blue painted eyes and beautifully modelled hair. I think this lady is from the 1840s. She has the typical milliner''s body, with painted flat shoes, leather torso and paper rings, where her wooden limps are attached. She wears what may be her original cotton red dress. She is 17" tall / 44 cm. Made by Voigt, Germany. The condition is excellent with only few signs of wear to her face. 10 3/4"/ 27 cm Wonderful antique empire papier mache or paper mache lady doll from my own collection. This doll has a solemn face with blue painted eyes and beautifully modelled hair. Her hair is swept up into a knot .an unusual and early hairstyle. I think this lady is from the 1840s. She has the typical milliner's body, with green painted flat shoes, leather torso and paper rings where her wooden appendages attach. She wears her original creme cotton dress and has lovely underwear. Very nice cabinet size. Minimal wear to the papermache head some crazing to the shoulderhead.under the dress.

A wonderful historical doll from the empire. Belonged to the late Estrid Faurholdt, who gave the doll to the Danish Legoland collection.Head and shoulderplate made of papermache-The doll comes with the provenance.Antique and original all over. Body made of cloth, antique original lovely dress and the finest underwear. Size: 31 cm / 12-1/4" Estrid Faurholdt wrote the book Dolls and Dollhouses together with Flora Gill Jacobs. A must have item.............
