Classic drop-front Waltershausen Secretaire with the original stenciling , featuring handsome paper lining and trim in the cozy interior. This useful piece would make a great miniature accessory for fashions, chinas or paper maches and be perfect in a large-scale dollhouse,too. Waltershausen dollhouse furniture works very well with many types of dolls, as well as in large dollhouses. This handsome Biedermeier Secretaire with a drop down front, behind which you have the writing space with 3 small drawers at each side of the mirror. 3 large drawers to open under the drop down desk. Original paper. Strong gold stenciling. mirror, knobs, paper all original. No repairs. Excellent conditiond. Made in Germany circa 1870. A lovely piece to add to a doll vignette .Very good condition. I just found this wonderful antique game in Paris: An Antique "Le Petit Taquin" or dollhouse size or in doll size Games and are an essential part of a fashion doll´s trousseau, so here is a wonderful addition to yours or a game for the doll house. The he game was made ca 1880. In the box you find the jetons. ( One with red, the other with white jetons) The game sheet is on the box, the fun can go on. This make up set "en miniature" from Paris must be a dream in the fashion doll´s trousseau I just found this wonderful antique set in Paris:a hard cardboard box in bordeaux color with gold print at the front. When you open it you find a small cylinder shaped box-also with gold decor- and with fine "dry color" inside. Next to it a wonderful ivory stick, that you use, to put on this "make up" en miniature. Both boxes are marked: EL Mesdjam, Dorin, Depose, Paris. And on the back you find an old label from Galeries la Fayette, Paris. The box meassures:L. 3" W. 1-1/2" /7,8 cm x B. 4 cm. Excellent condition. And truly rare…..

An Ormolu Hand Mirror The hand mirror has a highly decorative frame in a Rococo design with scroll work in raised designs. There is an inner border of tiny beadwork around the mirror. The original mirror shows some loss of silvering. The mirror is held in place by four prongs on the back. A lovely turned handle is attached to the mirror with a ring at the bottom for hanging. Measurements: 2-3/4" long Circa: 19th Century Lovely in her hand to mirror her face and lovely as an accessory on her vanity, dresser or commode, This will add a lot to the beauty of thevitrine with fashion dolls-french or German!.
