This is a rare Ormolu oil lamp from Erhard & Söhne. # 3213 in Swantje Köhlers book about the company. The base of the oil lamp is made up of large and small ormolu leaves which bend inwards to support a green glass bowl. Three chains are suspended from a holder. A great piece! Measurements: 4"/ 10 cm long from the ceiling. Excellent condition. No repairs. Strong gold. Ca 1880

A Beautiful Boulle Sideboard This sideboard has some unusual features that you will notice in the photos. There are two shelves with ivory turned posts! There is gold transfer work on all three levels (two shelves and the table top). The back of the sideboard has decorative scenes with buildings.The upper shelve and the table top of the sideboard is curved . Note: The second shelve has been replaced at some time.
