This is a very lovely stenciled sofa upholstered in purple silk-also with silk on the arm rests. ca 1860-70.Beautiful carved and turned wooden legs with an extra leg to support the sofa.Trimed with golden Dresdner paper. Exquesite Victorian Miniature dollhouse cradle with canopy.Ca 1880

This is an Exquisite Cradle he cradle is suspended between two stands which have hooks on them so that the cradle actually swings. The delicate tiny spindles are all intact along the sides of the cradle. The ends of the cradle and the stands that support the cradle have fancy raised designs of scroll work. The cradle has a canopy made of laze with silk flowers.Underneath the cradle is a decorative bar that attaches both stands in order to keep the whole cradle in balance. The bedding is maching the laze canopy coverlet and fancy lace pillow are set inside the cradle. The soft metal is painted in asphaltum which is a brown wash and some natural pewter ( see pictures) A beautiful piece in a bedroom or nursery. Measurements: 6-1/2" h. from tallest point on the stands on the ends. x 4" long x 1-5/8" w. About 1880

This tiny Bobbin pillow lace is a wonderful addition to a dollhouse sewing room. The pillow is made of fabric, it has the paper pattern underneath the lace, which is being made and the bobbins hanging. Bobbin lace (or pillow lace) takes its name from the way it is made: on a firm pillow to which a pricked-out pattern is tacked and each twist of the bobbins is held in place by a pin. Sice of pillow: 1-1/4" x 3/4" + add 3/4" to the bobbins. ( 3 cm x 2 cm + 2 cm for the bobbins. A charming piece. Ca 1900
