Lehmann dancing doll. Tin toy with celluloid head,clocwork ,made in Germany from 1903 to 1918.The Lehmann Mark on the bottom-EPL no 474. Original dress with the metal heart arround the neck. This doll 18" (46 cm) French Fashion with a bisque swivel head on stuffed kid leather body. The bisque is delicately shaded, wonderful brown paperweight eyes, serene smile and beautifully painted features are complimented by her original, leight blond, mohair wig decorated with flowers. She is wearing an exquisite cream gown in the style of the 1880s, The silk dress is enhanced by ribbons, lace, tulle and floral ornamentation. Shoes,underwear earrings and a lovely hair ornament. Very fine condition.
