6 1/2"/ 16 cm . Rare Museums piece. Ca 1830. An early Antique bisque Soldier with an extreme wonderful molded helmet/ hat in brown with decoration-also in bisque in red, white and gold. Also molded is the string around his neck from the hat. Fine detailed painted features. Great moustache, fine eyebrowns, red line about his blue eyes. Molded eyelid. He is dressed in his old uniform, which has old mend at some places-so lovely sewn and decorated.His jacket with all its trimming is red cotton and his trousers are velvet. Flat black shoes, bisque as well as his arms. A lovely truly historical doll. This is the most exceptional soldier/ officer I have ever seen! ( I do not know his orign or regiment!

Fine working mechanical and in great condition. Probably made by Siegfried Günthermann,Nürnberg or Georg Adam Mangold,Fürth.Good condition and working fine.
