Mandarin in the early version with hand painted coolies. Made by Lehmann before 1920 in Brandenburg. This windup toy features two coolies walking along with natural leg motion carrying a man seated in a highly decorated box. The man in the box is holding the pigtail of the front coolie, presumably confirming his superior social status. Wind up. Working fine.Very good condition Only minor wear.
