This is an exquisite Biedermeier China head doll, lovely detailed painted face, long slender neck and fine shoulder plate. She has beautifully painted features-a red line above her eyes,molded black hair with her ears free.She is on her original cloth body with Parian arms and legs, her feet with painted flat boots. He all original antique silk dress is so wonderful. A soft pink silk antique gown with wonderful details, like ribbon at the arms and lace.. A little fragile in the silk, due to age.Fine cotton underwear with skirt, pantalons and chemise. A perfect doll for the early doll house!And a dollhouse doll rare to find in this condition!
