15"/ 38 cm.Beautiful Parian shoulder head doll from the German Company Kister.This is a portrait of the Countess Dagmar, the mother of the last Czar of Russia.She has black hair with curls at the forehead. Muslin body with parian limbs. She has the molded on collar and blouse on the shoulder plate.Lovely painted features.Blue eyes with black and red line. Bisque all over in great quality. Black hair with pretty molded hairdo with brush strokes at the site..Modeled blouse in white molded in the fine bisque. Original clothes, white fine swiss batist dress with red print. She is on a fabric body with slim waist. Parian lower limps.Painted shoes. About 1870. Size 38cm/15 inch.

Wunderschöne deutsche Parian-Puppe (unglasiertes Porzellan) der Firma Dornheim, Koch & Fischer um 1870. Wird im englischem Sprachraum als "Dresdner Gentleman" bezeichnet. Brustblattkopf aus sehr hellem Biskuit-Porzellan. Stark modellierte blonde Frisur mit Mittelscheitel, freiliegende Ohren, geschlossener Mund. Das Hemd ist herrlich in Porzellan modelliert mit Halsschleife. Er hat blaue gemalte Augen, geschlossener Mund. Originaler Stoffkörper mit Ärmchen aus Leder. Alte Kleidung: zweiteiliger Anzug. Größe ca. 38 cm. Dieser Puppenmann hat eine wunderschöne Ausstrahlung. Literatur: "Dolls: The Early Years 1780-1880" by Florence Theriault, "China, Parian, and Bisque, German Dolls by Lydia Richter.
