This elegant lady is a large early Parian doll dating from ca 1870. Beautiful blond molded hairwith curls, a bow molded at the back and a black hairband.Lovely painted eyes.Pierced ears for earrings. The untinted bisque is in flawless condition and with lovely detailed painting. Her shoulder head is on her original cloth body with kid lower arms. The doll is in perfect condition. Nice old dress-a two-piece beige "Afternoon dress with a fur muff around her neck to warm her hands.. An elegant doll for your collection of early dolls! Size 57cm/ 22,5".

This make up set "en miniature" from Paris must be a dream in the fashion doll´s trousseau I just found this wonderful antique set in Paris:a hard cardboard box in bordeaux color with gold print at the front. When you open it you find a small cylinder shaped box-also with gold decor- and with fine "dry color" inside. Next to it a wonderful ivory stick, that you use, to put on this "make up" en miniature. Both boxes are marked: EL Mesdjam, Dorin, Depose, Paris. And on the back you find an old label from Galeries la Fayette, Paris. The box meassures:L. 3" W. 1-1/2" /7,8 cm x B. 4 cm. Excellent condition. And truly rare…..
