This pair of France garden sculptures of two boys on a pedestal are made in France with a"windblown" outdoor rough structure to the bisque-as if they have been outdoor for a century in the garden. What you ay call a kind of "shappy chick".They have minor difference in the color to the painting of hair and trousers .Size H. 3 3/4". Size of the base 1 1/4" across. France ca 1880. This Exceptionally charming all original French automaton was made by Alexandre Theroude ca. 1850, France. It is showing a GIRL ON MECHANICAL PLATFORM It is lockwork driven, tin base with standing lady, done in hand painted papiermache head and ornately cloth dressed. Platform has spoke wheels. 22,2 cm tall /8- 3/4" h. Minor staining to clothing, all original and excellent condition.

Arme und Beine sind beweglich, da sie über Metall verarbeitet sind. Um 1930. Höhe 19 cm. Sehr gut erhalten. "Dean''''s Rag Book " in Großbritanien erhielt 1929 ein Patent Mickey Mouse Puppen hezustellen.
