Antiker französischer Puppenautomat: Clown auf Schwein. Frankreich um 1880. Der Automat zeigt einen Clown, der rückwärts auf einem fellbekleideten Schwein sitzt. Wenn der Clown das Schwein am Schwanz zieht, wird der Automat aufgezogen, die Musik spielt und der Clown bewegt sich hin und her. Das Schwein ist aus Papiermaché, mit weißem Kaninchenfell bedeckt, es hat braune Glasaugen. Der Clown hat einen schönen modellierten Charakterkopf aus Papiermaché. Ein lustiger Automat mit schöner Musik und vielen Bewegungen. Sehr guter Zustand (Seide-Kleidung mit Altersspuren) und feinem Musikwerk. Original-Schlüssel. Höhe 24 cm. Länge 31 cm. Möglicherweise von der Firma Roullet und Decamps, Frankreich um 1890 hergestellt. Roullet & Decamps war eine der bedeutendsten Manufakturen der Jahrhundertwende für bewegliche Puppenautomaten.

Early Celluloid antique musical Marotte doll. A Celluloid shoulder head doll with blue glass eyes, open mouth, four teeth, blonde mohair wig, is attached to torso that contains a musical box, with long turned stick with a flute. The marotte is decorated with original costume with lace trimming and matching clown cap. When twirled, the costume swings about and music plays. Condition: excellent. Fine celluloid head and clothes in wonderful condition.The music box functions well. circa 1900. High:13,7` (34 cm.) with hat.

Prunkvoll-stolz laufender automatischer Pfau. Dieses erstaunliche 51 cm lange Automaten-Tier hat einen federbedeckten Körper. Im Körperinneren ist ein starker Aufziehmotor, der die Beine und die Spreizung der Federn antreibt. Er hält seine Balance mithilfe eines komplizierten Antriebsgestänges. Sein sorgfältig ausgearbeitetes Federkleid wird angehoben und gespreizt wie bei einem lebendigen Pfau. Ein wirklich sehr dekoratives automatisches Spielzeug. Die Mechanik funktioniert reibungslos. Original-Aufziehschlüssel. Leichte, altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren.

She has five movements-she is watering her plants and turns her head to the side and nods, while the music plays a wonderful melody. She has her original dress, wig, corkplate etc. The clockwork is in prestine condition. The tune is very good. The base is covered with the orginal red velvet and has the original Lambert key. Her dress is silk and as it is the original dress, you see the age on the silk. The bisque is very good. Size of automate 19,5 inches/ 49 cm.

12"Autoperipatetikos mechanical doll.Ca 1850. This walking dollis a wonderful rare exampel of these dolls. She has a papermache head with fine painted features. Lovely pink dress trimmed with lace black molded hair bands All original and in great condition. The doll is on a cardboard base with the patent marking (see picture). In the 19th century there were many examples in making a walking doll. The most famous of these, patented in America in the middle of the century was this kind of doll. They could be made to walk on their own either by being wound up or by the action of a lever.
