A wonderful rare mechanical toy a French Automaton featuring a Lady on a bike with her white poodle.She is dressed in her original french sporty outfit from ca 1880. When wind up she is biking with great energy and the poodle follows her-(due to the mechanism on the bike and the poodle works together) She is a French Fashion doll, lovely face with closed mouth, big blue paperweight eyes, mohair wig and she has her original earrings. Her biking outfit is a blouse and blue trousers. Bike has spike wheels and rubber tires. Lovely and charming mechanical toy. H. 10 1/4" W.8 3/4" (H. 25,4 cm L.22 cm)

Hampelmann, sehr seltener schwarzer Blechfigur, hergestellt von der Firma Lehmann, Brandenburg. Das seltene und sehr frühe Blecspielzeug der Firma Lehmann wurde schon 1906 für den amerikanischen Markt hergestellt. Durch drücken der Hut, bewegen sich Arme, Beine, Augen und der Zunge. Sehr guter Originalzustand. Minimale Spielspuren. Mit dem Lehmann-Firmenzeichen gemarkt. Länge 18 cm. Um 1906 fabriziert. This is a wonderful large "Jack in the Box toy". A big, scaring, very well molded papier mache clown jumps up of box, when the lid opens. Excellent painting and the condition is very good all over. The box is decorated with a lovely chrome litographed scrap of children with toys. A very nice piece! 19th. Century. Size of box closed 6"x 4 1/2"x4 1/2" (15,4 x 11,5x 11,5) When open clown is 9" tall 23 cm
