19" French papermache doll. Beautiful early Pauline doll. So called french Papermache on a very good french kidbody with inset GLASS eyes and human hair wig. The paper mache is in wonderful quality. About 1850. Papermache head in good quality . Geat original human hair wig. She wears her old original cotton dress, and has her original underwear. This is a large wonderful chinahead. Beautyful modelled details. Very nice detailed painting. Size of the head 8" ( 18 cm) high, 7,75" wide. 3 holes. China in excellent quality. She has got a fine hairline to the right of her shoulder. It is NOT broken-only a fine line on the surface of the china! The head is so pretty and would be wonderful on a nice body! An outstanding hairstyle with the blonde curls put up on the head and decorated with amazing golden lustre beads. Golden lustre decoration in the hair. pierced ears.Painted necklegde around her shoulder.Propaberly made by Kistner, Germany. Pretty blue eyes and very grazile features. A rare seen parian in this condition. No chips or marks to her shoulder head. She is just perfect! Her body and lower limps made of white kid. a study body, Very clean, and original to the doll. She is dressed in her original lovely antique cotton dress. Lots of underwear. A rare seen Parian in exceptional condition!

This is a wonderful rare very large 29" French-Type Papier Mache with Glass Eyes, German, circa 1835-1850, by Andreas Voit, original finish with no crazing set brown glass eyes, closed mouth painted hair wigh brush stroking around face, original brown human hair wig, on originalkid leather body (which is more flexible that these bodies usually are, allowing the doll to sit easily), original underclothes. Her dress is a lovely coton printed. Stockings and shoes.
