Beautiful Biedermeier bed. This Boulle bed has the high scalloped headboard. Stenciling appears on the headboard, footboard and sides. There are four corner posts with flat tops that are painted black. All original. 4 1/4"h. 6" long / h.11,5 cm x L.15 cm Wonderful strong golden at the front and at the sides. Very good condition.

Remarkable are also the stenciled scroll work at the sides of the upper drawers and the white banding overall between the drawers. This beautiful rosewood desk has a gallery of 5 cubby holes in white banding and two cabinet doors on either side. The table is curved on the front and has 5 working drawers,that opens below. Lovely carved pediment for the writing utensils above the writing plate.Lovely carving in a curved style, which is different from the other biedermeier desks.
