SOFA BIEDERMEIER Antique Miniature Biedermeier Sofa.This lovely sofa is the plain very early biedermeier kind from about 1850-60. It is without any breaks or repairs. A little worn on places to the silk-but nothing serious. The purple upholstery finished with gilt paper- all original. Comes from a Swedish estate. L. 7" /18 cm, H. 3,6" / 9 cm D. 2,5" /6,5 cm. Original paper at the back site. A lovely rare piece for the early dollhouse!Lovely Boulle furniture from Waltershausen, Germany.

This lovely Rock and Graner grain-painted l desk has an unusually open pierced gallery around the top and corners.Large writing surface, shelves and drawers for the writing utensils.The grain- painting is in good condition. The desk is supported on serpent legs that are twisted around and which a head to the serpent appears at the base. These legs are attached to a flat base which curves around the three sides. The interior is lined in blue paper with 5 compartments .There are two large drawers below and one above the below that opens Tiny square feet are mounted on the base.
