Ormolu Cuckoo Clock with moving bird and pendulum ca 1870,Erhard & Sohne

1 1/4" 3 cm. An incredible piece! The Ormolu clock was made by Erhard & Sohne and is in gold. There are raised designs around a the face. Below the clock is a swinging pendulum and 2 weights. But the best detail in this clock is the metal bird perched at the top of the clock in an opening above the clock face. When you pull the string next to the pendulum, the metal bird moves his head in and out the opening!
