Biedermeier stencilled fine chair.I have two of these large size lovely stencilled elaborate chairs in a "gothic style" upholstered in purple silk ca 1860-70.Beautiful carved and turned wooden legs. Boulle Waltershausen Germany. Size h. 13 cm/5"W. 6 cm/2 1/2" . Would be fine with a purple sofa Nice for the parlor or the hall..Medium scale.
